The 18th Hole Back Course Page

A Par 4 of 281 yards off the white tees stroke index 17.

An excellent match play hole.  Do you go for it or do you lay up

Going for it means hitting a driver, by either clearing the pond on the left or threading the ball through the narrow gap to the right of the pond.

This will leave the golfer a short pitch to a large green, bunkered left and right setting up a birdie opportunity.  Laying up will involve hitting the ball short of the pond.

This will then leave a large pitch, to hopefully leave a birdie putt.  Judgement is vital as anything long leaves a difficult 3rd shot.

A definite birdie chance to finish the round in style, but beware, because many a 5 has been taken and all in view of the patio and clubhouse!
