to CHERRY LODGE IN WINNING THE GRAY CUP FINAL

Kitchen Events

Change to Sundays

During the previous months we have tried and tested various options for Sundays and have decided on the following:

  • Barbeques will not continue on a regular basis
  • A normal snack menu will operate together with a specials board
  • Every 3rd Sunday in the month there will be a Carvery

    We are at the present experimenting with our crisps and bread and your comments would be greatly appreciated.

    We thank you all for your support in the past and look forward to seeing you for a Carvery in the near future.

Woodlands Project Update

We have had a letter from Woodland Developments, the company selected to carry out our proposed course developments. The purpose of this letter is to make you aware that we are going to have to put our project on hold for at least six months.

The reason for this is that the Environment Agency are currently phasing in new procedures and restrictions for developments similar to ours. Whether or not our project conforms to a tax free disposal operation is yet to be determined but should it not be the case there would be a 50% tax on the revenue thus making the scheme almost certainly unviable. This is a new tax law that was introduced on the 6th of April 2010 for any project that didn’t already have planning in place.

Woodlands have a similar scheme to ours which they will be evaluating and discussing with the Environment Agency over the coming weeks/months and will come back to us in around 12 weeks or sooner if they are able to give us more information.
